1-21-09: Radiator for pizza dough, sausage for belly.  Also: Experimental new photo angle!  Verdict: steamy
Ward’s sausage and fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, caramelized yellow onion & mini green/red peppers; shaved kohlrabi and fennel salad with a mustardy vinaigrette -

Get excited!  They are kohlrabi!
A delightful — albeit poorly photographed — way to enjoy them is LIKE SO: Prepare a dressing by pounding a small garlic clove together with salt, add spoon of mustard, two spoons sour cream, glug of red wine vinegar, drop o honey, chopped parsley and capers (use own discretion!) and several glugs olive oil.  Black pepper like a fiend!  Mix with kohlrabi (save the tops for lunch another day) and fennel you have thinly sliced with your mandoline or outstanding knife skills and ENJOY
